Another Texan in President's Cabinet

"Susan Combs, a former Texas legislator and statewide official, will be named acting assistant secretary of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service, the Austin American-Statesman reported Thursday." The Texas Tribune

Georgetown Needs Open and Transparent City Government

The Texas Public Policy Foundation hosted a forum yesterday on the Texas Public Information Act that identified several serious short-comings of existing law.

"Efforts to close loopholes in the state's open information laws fell short at the end of last year's legislative session. An interim committee intended to get a head start before the 2019 session hasn't met. Its members haven't even been named."
Contact Representative Terry Wilson and Senator Charles Schwertner to urge the Texas Senate and House leaders to appoint the interim committe.

IRS Abuse of Citizens Continues

The DOJ and IRS continue to stonewall and reverse prior agreements to keep True the Vote in court burning through their resources.

We need to tell our leaders in Washington D.C. that this behavior must stop and those responsibile must be removed.
