It was an old-style attack, but with a 21st-century target. He continues:
Mr. Federer said Islam teaches “It’s OK to kill people, because Muhammad did.”
Mr. Federer also said there’s no point in making distinctions between Islamic “fundamentalists” or violent radicals and those Muslims who are more “moderate.”
“First they come in as immigrants,” Mr. Federer said. “They’re nice, nothing to fear … they gradually move into a more political direction …”The readers and the reporter need to keep up with what is going on in other parts of the world, where muslims have slaughtered Christians and gang raped women (e.g., in France, Germany and England). They have established "No Go" zones where police are afraid to go without large numbers. In the "No Go" zones, sharia law is enforced and western law is ignored.
It is clear muslims are gaining political power in the United States and, as they gain power, they will seek to impose their beliefs on the people through law and policy.
They are making inroads in Texas at the lowest elected levels.

If you don’t think they have an agenda to conform America to Islam, you really do need to pull your head out of the sand.
Update
A letter was published by the Wilco Sun in the January 30, 2019 edition that was in response to the above referenced article. The Sun editor provided additional information that is revelant to the discussion. Here is the letter and the editor's clarifying comments.
Saving free speech in America
"I was puzzled after reading Brad Stutzman’s recent article (“Speaker says Muslims pose threats”) about William Federer’s presentation in Sun City. I wondered if Brad had totally missed the first part of Dr. Federer’s presentation which indicated Islam is three things: a religion, a judicial system, and a political system.
Dr. Federer explained he would talk primarily about political Islam since it has led Muslims to kill millions of people (non-Muslims and Muslims) over the past 1,300 years. Under political Islam, Islam was spread by the sword from Mecca to large portions of Africa, Europe, and Asia. In 1804, President Jefferson sent the Navy and Marines to protect American ships against Muslim attacks “from the shores of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli.”
Brad apparently thinks saying negative things about Islam is bigotry. I am writing as a strong proponent of free speech. I fear that, unless Americans defend our First Amendment rights, our country will become like Europe where people are arrested if they dare to speak negatively about Islam. We must be honest.
While Islam may be a religion of peace, it has followers who have killed thousands of people in just the past two decades. When we cannot talk of these killings for fear of offending moderate Muslims, we are surrendering our First Amendment rights. I refuse to do this willingly. JOY PUTNAM

Editor’s note: The article Ms Putnam refers to included additional information that was not presented at the event, nor from follow-up interviews with people there. Criticism of Dr. Federer’s opinion by Sun staff should be on the opinion page, not in a news story. In a rush to make press time, I failed to remove that additional information. I take responsibility for the mistake and apologize to our readers. —— Lorraine Brady"
